New release date

It is now officially announced that the film will be released on November 14th, 2025. In Telugu, Tamil and other languages. Bhagyasri Borse and Samutrakani are playing the lead roles in the film. Rana Daggubati also appears in the film but the details of his role is not yet revealed.

Kaantha the story of ego or arrogance?

Until now makers have only released a promo from the film, Kaantha. In that promo it is shown that the story is set in a periodical time frame and it is happening during the production of the film. The main central relationship the film is exploring is between actor and director. 

Relationship between two great artists

Generally art carries a lot of self exploration, that’s a good thing for the art being created but it strains the reality of the individual. Ego comes into play when there is conflict. That is what was shown in the film. Selvamani Selvaraj is the writer and director of this film.

Rana Daggubati posted about the film release date, his post read “Diwali just got a whole lot more explosive! #Kaantha will be lighting up theatres worldwide from NOVEMBER 14th! Fans of Dulquer are sharing this update in all of their pages. They are excited as the film is in the production for a long time, the reasons for the delay is attributed to post production works involved in the film. 

‘Kaantha’ is a period drama, so the film is heavy in vfx and special sound effects. These two departments need to give their best for the film to have a distinct look and feel.
