D40, title still not confirmed, has become one of the most spoken-about projects of the times. Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, who recently bought us the superhit RDX, this film is now gearing up to be fervently peddling action with high drama. Produced under Dulquer’s own banner Wayfarer Films, the movie has also cast Antony Varghese Pepe in a significant cameo, thus building the expectations for the movie sky high.
In Telugu, Dulquer headlines Aakasamlo Oka Tara, directed by Pavan Sadineni. The film is being designed pan-Indian, with the release planned in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. Dulquer and co-star Satvika Veeravalli bring alive a beautiful love story with an emotional edge.
Another awaited project is DQ41, where Dulquer will act alongside Pooja Hegde. The unusual pairing created a buzz. It is directed by Ravi Nelakuditi, also a debut, with music by G.V. Prakash Kumar. The project intends to be a splendorous take on contemporary romance with a very heartfelt narration.
Sticking to varieties, Dulquer also stars in Kaantha, categorized as a period-horror-thriller. Some minor delays were proposed to allow for a breathing space for the success of Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. Nonetheless, expectations remain high. Of course, the fans would love to see Dulquer tread in this genre.
