The company went bankrupt in 2017. The new shareholders even filed for bankruptcy protection in court. The 2017 version of the Vertu Constellation was the last Vertu handset released before bankruptcy. But in 2018, Vertu emerged from bankruptcy and unveiled the Aster P smartphone at an event in Beijing in October. Dual AI models will be launched in October 2022.
