Today marks the day of its 15 year anniversary, fans online are recalling the film.

Brindhavanam

Brindhavanam is a story between two brothers who are separated by ego, the hero enters the situation as a saviour and finally solves the problems between brothers and in turn between two villages. The film showed Ntr in a fun jovial avatar, he carried the film with ease. 

Comedy 

The film is filled with comedy scenes, they worked well with the family audience, comedians like Venu Madhav and Brahmanandham evoked funny laughs with their trademark mannerisms. Ntr too brought out his comedy angle and it blended well with the situations.

Two female leads

Ntr’s character is brought into the situation by his girlfriend played by Samantha, he goes in to help Bhoomi played by Kajal. During his stay with the family Bhoomi falls in love with Ntr. In the end when the dust settles Ntr is asked to choose between two women and the film ends before he could answer. 

The noise in the background says he will marry them both. The song “chinnado vaipu, peddado vaipu” is a nod to this conflicted emotion.

The film was released 15 years ago. It is available on Youtube with a edited version, and it is streaming free on Zee 5.
