Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan never expected a casual joke to come true so quickly. During a recent visit to actress Radhikka Madan’s home, she spotted a framed handwritten note from Amitabh Bachchan. Amused and slightly envious, Farah jokingly said she wanted one too.
That wish didn’t go unnoticed. Days later, Farah received her own letter, personally written by Big B himself.
Farah shared the emotional moment on Instagram, revealing the letter arrived at 3:30 AM. She said, “Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho toh puri kaynat… It works!” She posted a video holding the note, beaming with excitement.
The Om Shanti Om director added, “I love you, Amit ji. You made my day… maybe my year!”
In the letter, Bachchan wrote,
“Dearest Farah, there are moments when exceptional talents in diverse mediums go beyond any appreciation. ‘Appreciation’ as a word describing your enormous creative contribution falls short by miles.”
He praised her outspoken personality and creative achievements. He ended the note with, “My love, affection and regard.”
This deeply personal gesture left Farah stunned. “He watches our vlogs!” she exclaimed.
