A day after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) called her in connection with the ongoing probe into a high-profile case of an online betting app, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has not reportedly intimated her willingness to appear before the agency. The actress has neither confirmed attendance nor called the ED to request a delay or an explanation for the summons, sources said.

The ED, which is investigating suspected money laundering and illicit financial operations connected to an extensive betting network, had issued the summons to Rautela last week. Her name had apparently emerged during the probe as someone who could have visited promotional events or been paid by people connected with the app. While no direct accusations have been made against her so far, her presence was sought to assist in clarifying certain financial links and event appearances under scrutiny.

What has drawn attention is Urvashi’s silence. Typically, individuals summoned by the ED either appear on the scheduled date or formally request an extension. In this case, no such communication has been made, raising eyebrows across both media and legal circles.
