Dhanush in STR 49: STR 49 is the first time director Vetimaaran has teamed up with Simbu. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. The promo of the film is going to be out by the end of this month. The shooting of the film is also going to start this month. In this situation, director Vetrimaran has released various updates about the movie STR 49. As the film is being made in the Vadachennai universe, the initial reports suggest that Andrea, Samuthirakani, Kishore and Aamir who acted in Vadachennai will also act in the film.
Vetrimaran has said that the film Vada Chennai was originally written for Simbu. And then Dhanush came in it, so many changes were made for him. And now the work on STR 49 has started with the original story written for Simbu. Since it is the same universe, many people who acted in the film Vada Chennai will be present in this film, but Dhanush is not in this film, said Vetrimaran.
Vethimaran, who says that after completing Simbu’s STR 49. He plans to make the second part of Vada Chennai, has said that he cannot say for sure when it will be made. When the film Vada Chennai was released, they were planning to start the shooting of its second part as well. But Vetrimaran explained that he took Asuran instead of Vada Chennai 2 because producer Thanu asked him to have a polished script.

Director Vetrimaran ran a production company called Cross Root Films. He has been producing films with different storylines. And while speaking at a film festival called Bad Girl yesterday, he announced that he is shutting down his production company. He said that this Bad Girl will be the last film released in his production. Vethimaran has announced the closure of the production company due to many challenges and pressures.
