Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker, known for her fearless opinions and strong performances, has made it clear that she is not planning to follow her husband, politician Fahad Ahmad, into the world of politics. Despite her deep engagement with political issues, she has no interest in joining the political arena herself.
Swara believes that politics is not just about seeking power. Recently talking to a media house Swara reflecting on her perspective. She shared that politics, at its core, is about building awareness, advocating for crucial issues, and giving a voice to the marginalized. She emphasized that this form of political engagement, which involves protests and discussions with the public, resonates more with her than the pursuit of positions or elections.
Though actively involved in Fahad’s election campaigns, Swara admitted she has little interest in election politics. “I never felt a special connection to electoral politics,” she said, acknowledging the challenges she faced while working on Fahad’s campaign. After experiencing the intensity of campaign work, Swara realized that the demanding nature of electoral politics didn’t align with her personal interests or temperament.
Swara, never one to shy away from controversy, recently made headlines for her comments about bisexuality and her admiration for Dimple Yadav, which led to trolling on social media. However, she responded calmly, stating that her remarks were light-hearted and intended as playful banter. Swara clarified that she meant her comments theoretically and emphasized the importance of women supporting and admiring each other openly.
