Mohanlal’s next big project, Drishyam 3, is officially on its way, and fans are eagerly waiting. The movie, directed by Jeethu Joseph, will pick up from where the thrilling second part left off. However, there’s an interesting development about the Hindi version of the film, starring Ajay Devgn, that fans should know.
Jeethu Joseph, who directed the first two Drishyam films, has confirmed that Drishyam 3 is set to begin production in October 2025. However, he recently revealed some behind-the-scenes drama about the Hindi version of the movie.
In a recent interview with Mathrubhumi, Jeethu said that the makers of the Hindi Drishyam 3 were eager to start filming before the Malayalam version. Initial discussions even considered shooting both versions simultaneously. However, Jeethu stopped the plans, saying, “We hadn’t decided whether to produce both versions at the same time. Initially, there were plans to start with Hindi, but after a hint about legal concerns, they backed off.”
While Mohanlal leads the Malayalam Drishyam 3, Ajay Devgn plays the pivotal role in the Hindi remake. Alongside Ajay, actors like Tabu and Akshaye Khanna will also star. Despite both versions being highly anticipated, Jeethu’s decision to delay the Hindi start has stirred interest.
