War 2 Viral Video: This Thursday, Telugu actor Jr. NTR made his Bollywood debut in the action movie War 2, starring Ayan Mukerji and Kiara Advani. While commemorating the milestone, his followers went beyond, and images and videos of it went viral online. In one video, supporters are even seen setting a flamethrower on fire inside a theater, posing a fire risk.
Flamethrower Inside Theatre:
A paparazzo account used the caption “War 2 NTR entry (fire emoji)” and shared a video on Instagram showing Jr. NTR fans sparking a flamethrower inside a theater. In the theaters, fans pulled out flamethrowers. The video shows spectators shouting and flinging confetti as Jr. NTR makes his entrance. One fan lit a flamethrower, ignoring the fire hazard, while other supporters cheered near the screen and held specially designed posters. Meanwhile, the rest of the audience busily filmed the scene.
Social Media Comments:
Some people called it “PR” for the movie, while others filled their comments beneath the image with fire emojis. However, some criticized the fans for their actions. One fan wrote, “Jab tak is desh mein saneema hai (As long as cinema exists in this country),” implying that idiots would always exist. Another wrote, “Why are Southies acting like clowns?” and referred to the fans as “clowns.” Someone else asked, “Ye wahi haina jo Saiyaara public ko chapri bol rhe the na? Weren’t the Saiyaara audience criticized for acting in this manner?”

Since the premiere of War 2, fans of Jr. NTR have shared many images and videos of themselves cheering, conducting pooja, tossing confetti, and popping crackers. However, people criticized one fan for going too far by cutting their thumb and applying a tilak to a photo of Jr. NTR.
