Kannada actor Santhosh Balaraj: Santosh Balaraj, a 34-year-old Kannada actor, died Tuesday morning. ‘Kariya 2’ and ‘Ganapa’ were among his most well-known parts. According to reports, the actor had been suffering from jaundice for a few weeks, and despite receiving medical attention, his health reportedly got worse.

According to the media sources, Santhosh breathed his last at around 9.45 am in one of the private hospitals in Bengaluru. He is one of the most promising stars in the Kannada film industry.

Santhosh Balaraj and film legacy:
Santhosh is the son of the most popular film producer Anekal Balaraj, who produced the blockbuster hit film Kariya. This film was released in 2003, which starred by Dharshan. Balaraj expired in a road accident in 2022. Following this, Santhosh took all the family responsibility and his father’s film legacy. He continued his work and used to stay with his mother.

Santhosh’s Most Popular Film:
‘Ganapa’ was the action-thriller movie that made Santhosh Balaraj very famous. Prabhu Srinivas was the director of “Ganapa,” which debuted on big screens in 2015. The film became a huge success. ‘Kariya’, a Kannada blockbuster, had a similar plot. Teshi Venkatesh’s romantic drama film “Olavine Ole” (2012) was similarly highly praised by viewers, particularly for Santhosh’s outstanding performance.

Neha Patil played the female protagonist in “Olavine Ole,” a story that focused on honor killings. ‘Janma’, directed by Chakravarthi, featured Santhosh as the primary character, Kanteerava, in 2013. The plot, which centers on Kanteerava falling in love with Kaveri and the turmoil that arises when both of their families oppose their romance, won the film a lot of accolades. Kariya 2, an action gangster film from 2017, was Santhosh Balaraj’s final film.
