Sridevi, known as the “Atiloka Sundari,” is one of the most celebrated actresses in Indian cinema. She won millions of fans across India by acting in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Born on August 13, 1963, in Meenampatti, Madras, Sridevi started her career as a child artist in 1967 and soon grew into one of the most loved heroines in the country. By the age of 13, she was already a lead actress, which shows her immense talent and popularity.

Sridevi’s career spanned over five decades, where she acted with almost every leading hero in major film industries. She married Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor in 1996 and became the mother of Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, who are now active in the film industry.

Recently, an interesting story about Sridevi went viral. Celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi revealed a lesser-known fact about her food habits. During one phase of her career, Sridevi had to stay in Juhu, Mumbai, at a hotel for nearly two years. The hotel management gave her a fixed room with all facilities and staff. However, Sridevi was not fond of the food served at the hotel.

Instead, she preferred to get her meals from a special place called Harris, which was known for its Mangalorean-style dishes. She especially loved fish curry, which became her daily favorite. According to Harpal Singh Sokhi, Sridevi enjoyed this dish so much that it was brought to her regularly. Apart from fish curry, she occasionally ate simple meals like dal and rice inside the hotel.
