Lokah Box Office Collections: The film Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandra has made a phenomenal impact at the Indian box office. Released in Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil, the film is attracting people with its captivating performances and engaging storytelling. In a span of just five days, the film has wiped out an impressive ₹31.05 crores collection, giving rise to discussion about its rapid return on investment.
The case took its first step forward on Day 1 (Thursday) with ₹2.7 crore, largely attributed to the Malayalam market. The film started to pick up the pace with ₹4 crore on Day 2 (Friday), reflecting nearly 48% growth.
On Day 3, the real breakthrough came, with collections booming to ₹7.6 crores, a generous nearly 90% growth from the day before. Thanks to the positive word-of-mouth and reviews, the influx was strong.
On Day 4, the film climbed, achieving ₹10.1 crore, the highest in any one day in its run thus far. This brought the fourday to almost a breakeven level.
On Day 5, a Monday, which is a working day and thus considered a low day in collections. Nevertheless Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandra has already sustained in collections of ₹6.65 crore (early estimates), making the total collection now stand at ₹31.05 crore.
Source in trade say the breakeven target for the film in India was set around ₹28-30 crores. The film crossed beyond ₹31 crores in the five-day total thereby happily situated in the profit zone, marking itself successful across regions.

Unlike a majority of movies that take weeks to recover costs. Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandra has done so within a span of five days. A good number of alerts to its theatrical run lasting even further could be inferred by its strong performance especially in Malayalam and Telugu markets. If the present trend continues, this film could easily find its own space as one of the most successful multi-language releases of the year.
