LOKAH CHAPTER ‘2’ is now official, Tovino Thomas to play the lead

Lokah Chapter ‘2’

Dulquer Salmaan produced Lokah in his home banner Wayfarer films. He took to his ‘X’ space and officially announced that Lokah Chapter ‘2’ will be starting soon, it will star Tovino Thomas in the lead role, Dominic Arun will be the writer and Director, Nimish Ravi will handle the camerawork for the film. Tovino to return as Michael

In the first chapter of Lokah, Tovino played a cameo role. His performance was lauded by the audience, he was seen as quirky and cunning Michael in the film. Now, with this new chapter entirely based on his character it remains to be seen what the makers have in store for us, whether they will present his backstory or they will continue with the story from the end of the first Chapter.

Will Dulquer too play a full fledged role?

Along with the announcement Dulquer posted a first look poster from the film, in that poster he is seen chilling with Michael and the caption is written as “When Legends Chill”. This raises a speculation whether Dulquer will play a full length role in the film or it will be just another cameo role like he did in Chapter ‘1’.

Can we see the same magic?

Lokah is a film that struck very well because of its portrayal of superpowers from a human angle. In the film every superhero feels like normal human beings, they too need jobs and money, they too have desires to fulfill and they too have past secrets and traumas. This characterization worked well in the first Chapter. Will director and writer Dominic still continue this aspect or will he go in a different direction altogether?
