Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘The Girlfriend’ release date announced with a promo

Rashmika Mandanna: National crush Rashmika is in the news today because of her engagement to Vijay Devarakonda. Now, from her professional side there is another update from her upcoming film ‘The Girlfriend’, it is revealed that the film will be hitting the screens on November 7th this year.

What is in the promo?

The released promo offered the basic essence of the film, in it the central question asked by the two leads is that “who is your type?”. Relationships start due to various reasons but, how would you know if the person you are with is right for you? This central conflict is revealed to be the driving force in the film.

In the end the promo offered some flash cuts in the film with an upbeat background score. Rahul Ravindran is directing this film under Geetha Arts banner. Deekshith shetty is playing the lead opposite Rashmika. Music is composed by Hridayam fame Hesham Abdul Wahab.

Rashmika in back to back films

Rashmika Mandanna is a busy actor these days, she is doing multiple projects back to back. She is acting in multiple languages across the country, her next two outings will be ‘Thamma’ with Ayushmann Khurrana and ‘The Girlfriend’.

She has a couple of big films in the form of AA26 with Atlee and Cocktail ‘2’ with Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. With all these big budget films and another female centric film “Mysa”, her career is going strong with each passing film.

Andala Rakshasi actor Rahul Ravindran made a strong debut as a director with ‘Chi La Sow’, the film got him national award, then he made spiritual sequel film ‘Manmadhudu ‘2’ with Nagarjuna, but that film tanked at the box office, Rahul went into a bad phase after that.

Now with ‘The Girlfriend’ he is once again looking to make a strong comeback, so far released content from the film has gained enough buzz among the film circles, we have to wait and see what Rahul is offering for us this November 7th.
