Mr Perfect: An Opportunity Lost

At first, RK Sagar was offered the role of 2nd hero in Mr Perfect, the famous film by Prabhas. He made himself free and reached the set. Baffled: no scene shot without him for days rolled into weeks. Finally, he raises a question to the director on the reason for not featuring him, who said: “a script and characters take time to develop and should understand.” Sagar was disillusioned with the vagueness and sudden change and preferred to get out. Though, he short footage still made it to the final version, leaving fans baffled and disappointed. Disturbed by the incident, he admits, it brought an imbalance to his career in the same breath affecting future opportunities.

Rangastalam: A Role That Slipped Away

Another major project RK Sagar missed was Rangasthalam. RK had been offered the young actor Ram Charan’s brother’s role, which was ultimately played by Aadhi Pinisetty. The makers might have also gone for Aadhi for a better fit or availability at the time. Sagar revealed it was a high-possibility role that could have given a leap in his career, but he does not regret it.
