Now, new rumors are spreading about Spirit.
After delivering blockbusters like Arjun Reddy and Animal, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is directing Spirit with Prabhas in the lead role. Years ago, the makers announced that Prabhas would appear in a powerful police look. Initially, the team considered Deepika Padukone as the heroine, but finally, Triptii Dimri came on board. Although this project has been in the pipeline for years, the story and genre have remained a mystery.
Suddenly, social media buzz suggests that Spirit will follow a dark supernatural thriller storyline. Reports claim that Sandeep plans to wrap up the film in just six months, with Prabhas shedding weight and sporting a completely different look compared to his recent films. Rumors aside, the updates sound intriguing, and if true, expectations are bound to rise.

A while ago, Vanga hinted that Spirit would officially take off in September. Since then, speculation has been rife, with gossip mills working overtime. Recently, an unofficial X handle claimed that the film’s grand launch was locked for September 2, 2025. The “update” went viral within hours, tricking many fans into believing it was confirmed. However, insiders close to the project have clarified that no such date has been finalized, and any official announcement will only come directly from Vanga and the production team. This clarification has cooled the frenzy but has also left fans anxious for an authentic word from the makers.
