Healthy Office Snacks:
Actor Tamannaah Bhatia’s fitness trainer, Siddhartha Singh, recently shared on Instagram a list of healthy snack options that can be eaten at the workplace. He suggested five simple and nutritious snacks, all under 200 calories, that can keep people full and energized during busy office hours.
Singh said Greek yoghurt is his top choice. It is rich in protein, helps reduce hunger, and prevents the afternoon slump. “These days it is easy to find, it keeps you full and keeps you away from that afternoon slump,” he explained.
His second suggestion was boiled eggs. Two medium-sized eggs can provide about 12 grams of protein. They are simple, quick, and packed with essential nutrients.
The third option was apple slices with one tablespoon of peanut butter. Singh described it as a balance of carbohydrates, healthy fats, and fiber. It helps beat sugar cravings without causing an energy crash.
Next on his list was protein coffee, which is made by mixing a scoop of whey protein with black coffee. Singh said this option boosts energy levels and adds extra protein, making it perfect for long workdays.
Finally, he recommended a small portion of walnuts with dark chocolate. This combination provides antioxidants and healthy fats, satisfying sweet cravings in a healthy way. However, he warned not to overeat this snack.
In his caption, Singh summarized the list as: Greek yoghurt (150g), boiled eggs (2), apple with peanut butter (1 tbsp), protein coffee (1 scoop whey + black coffee) and dark chocolate (70%+) with walnuts (20g).
Health experts often emphasize that smart snacking can prevent overeating and keep energy levels stable. Singh’s simple list is designed for busy professionals who struggle with unhealthy office snacks.
