Thalapathy Vijay Chennai Home:
A shocking security breach took place at actor and politician Vijay’s residence in Chennai on Friday, September 19, 2025. A 24-year-old man, identified as Arun from Madurantakam, managed to enter the property despite the actor being under Y-category security cover.
According to police reports, Arun climbed a tree and reached the terrace of Vijay’s house two nights before the incident came to light. When Vijay himself went to the terrace, he noticed the intruder. The actor calmly escorted the man downstairs and then informed the police about the situation.
A bomb squad was immediately sent to check the house as a precautionary step. Fortunately, nothing dangerous was found. The intruder was taken into custody and questioned at the Neelankarai police station.
During the investigation, police identified the man as Arun, son of Raja. Officers stated that he appeared to be mentally disturbed. He has now been shifted to the Kilpauk Government Hospital in Chennai for medical treatment.
The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety arrangements at Vijay’s residence. Even with Y-category security, which usually ensures high-level protection, the man managed to bypass guards and enter the premises unnoticed. Authorities are now probing how such a lapse occurred and are reviewing security measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Thalapathy Vijay, who is also the chief of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has not made a public statement about the breach yet. Fans and supporters, however, are expressing their worries over his safety.
On the professional front, Vijay was last seen in the 2024 film The Greatest of All Time, which featured a large star cast. He is now busy with his next project, Jana Nayagan, slated for release in 2026. Reports suggest this could be his final film before he shifts full-time into politics.
