Thalapathy Vijay will be seen in the upcoming film Jana Nayagan. This is the last film of his career. KVN Productions’ first Tamil film, releasing in 2026, is made on a huge budget of 300 crores. It is expected to do well at the box office. It also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Narayan, Mamita Baiju, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Revathi. This political action thriller directed by H Vinoth is Vijay’s last film before entering politics. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for it.
Let us tell you that Thalapathy Vijay was last seen in the 2024 film The Greatest of Time. Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment, this movie featured Vijay in a double role. Along with him were Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary. This film with a budget of 400 crores did a business of 440 crores. Thalapathy Vijay started his career as a child artist in 1984. At the age of 10, he worked in the Tamil film Vettri produced by PS Veerappa. He worked as a child artist in films like Kudumbam (1984), Vasantha Ragam (1986), Sattam Oru Vilayattu (1987) and Ithu Engal Neethi (1988). Also played a supporting role with Rajinikanth in Naan Sigappu Manithan (1985) directed by his father. He made his debut as a lead actor in the 1992 film Naalaiya Theerpu. After this, he appeared in films like Senthoorpandi, Rasigan, Deva and Coimbatore Mappillai, which were hits.
