Khushi Re-Release: The re-release trend in Tamil cinema emerged last year. While new films were continuously released in Tamil cinema last year, it was actor Vijay’s film Ghilli that rescued the struggling Tamil cinema from the slump. The film was re-released in April last year and collected more than Rs.50 crore at the box office. This is more than the collection that the film earned when it was released.
A.M. Ratnam, who produced the film Ghilli, was delighted with the unanimous response to its re-release and returned to film production. He is producing the second part of the film 7G Rainbow Colony. In fact, 7G Rainbow Colony 2 is being made with the profits made from the re-release of Ghilli. Following the response to the film Ghilli, A.M. Ratnam has now decided to re-release another film he produced with Vijay, Khushi.
Accordingly, Kushi, directed by S.J. Surya and starring Vijay, was released in 2000 and was a huge hit. It has been 25 years since the film was released, and it has been announced that it will be re-released on September 25th. Various changes have been made to it in accordance with modern technology and it will be re-released with a new look. Like the reception received by the film Ghilli, the film Kushi is expected to get a good response among the fans.
In this situation, director S.J. Surya has released a special trailer for the re-release of the film Khushi. In this trailer, which has been released with his voice over, Vijay is first referred to as Thalapathy and then changed to Ilayai Thalapathy. This trailer has a good vibe with all the songs. This trailer is currently going viral on the internet.
