Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the Best Actor award at the 71st National Film Awards in Delhi for his powerful performance in Jawan. This marks his first-ever National Award, a milestone in his three-decade-long career. The recognition comes after a year of massive box office success. Jawan not only broke records but also showcased his range as a performer, earning both critical and audience acclaim.
Celebrating their father’s big win, Suhana and Aryan Khan shared a touching post on Instagram. Posting a picture of Shah Rukh with the National Award medal, they wrote, “You always said you never win the silver, only lose the gold… but this Silver is Gold. Our hearts are so happy seeing you receive the prestigious National Award. Congratulations papa, we love you.”
Gauri Khan, SRK’s wife and a celebrated interior designer, also joined in with a heartfelt tribute. “What a journey it’s been @iamsrk. Congratulations on winning the National Award!!! So deserving… it’s a result of your years of hard work and dedication. Now I’m designing a special mantle for this award,” she posted.

Though this is his first National Award, Shah Rukh Khan is no stranger to recognition. He has won 14 Filmfare Awards, several for Best Actor. From DDLJ to Chak De! India, his performances have shaped Indian cinema. He has also received the Padma Shri and international honours from France.
