John Carpenter made this slasher horror film with a shoe string indie budget, the film went on to gross 70 million dollars at the box office. It starred Jamie Lee Curtis in the lead role. The film is set in a fictional Illinois town of Haddonfield, it follows Micheal Myers, he killed his sister on a halloween night, then escapes mental asylum after 15 years and returns to the town to kill again.
