Producer Naga Vamsi has expressed his immense happiness regarding the positive response that Vijay Deverakonda’s film Kingdom has received. Speaking to the press, Naga Vamsi, who produced the movie under the Sitara Entertainments banner, revealed how the film’s release has exceeded expectations, especially the crowd’s reaction. He shared that after the movie’s release, the first show garnered great feedback with fans of Vijay Deverakonda praising the movie. The film has become a hit among Vijay’s fanbase, and Hyderabad has seen a full house for the movie’s 32 shows on the opening day.

When asked about inviting Pawan Kalyan for the Kingdom success meet in Andhra Pradesh, Naga Vamsi responded in a funny way. He mentioned that Vijay Devarakonda is their Pawan Kalyan.

Meanwhile Vamsi also mentioned that Kingdom boasts Hollywood-level production standards, setting a new benchmark in Telugu cinema. He expressed pride in the movie’s technical quality, adding that it was one of the few films in 2025 that had such high standards. Although the film received positive reviews from most viewers, Vamsi acknowledged that there are always areas of improvement. He pointed out that the second half of the movie might feel slightly dragged, but he appreciated how critics addressed these points.

The producer also discussed a musical break in the film designed to ease the film’s intense moments, adding that there was initially an expectation for a romantic kiss scene with Vijay Deverakonda, but it was omitted to maintain the flow of the movie. Regarding the film’s climax, Vamsi was confident it would receive a warm reception.

Vijay Deverakonda himself expressed his joy, revealing how calls and messages have flooded in from friends and fans since the film’s release. Reflecting on his journey, he shared how things have evolved since his Arjun Reddy days, saying that it feels amazing to be part of a successful film once again.

Directed by Gautham Tinnanuri, Kingdom also stars Bhagyashree Borse, and the music by Anirudh has further elevated the film’s appeal. With the buzz growing, both Vamsi and Vijay are looking forward to the film’s continued success.
