Warwick Davis Makes a Magical Return

In a surprising move, Warwick Davis will reprise his role as Professor Filius Flitwick in the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series. This marks a shift from HBO’s earlier stance that none of the original film cast would return. Davis, known for playing both Flitwick and Griphook in the films, will appear only as the beloved Charms teacher this time. The role of Griphook goes to Leigh Gill, known for Game of Thrones and Joker.

New Faces at Hogwarts

The show introduces fresh faces to Hogwarts. Sirine Saba joins as Professor Pomona Sprout, Richard Durden plays the ghostly Professor Binns, and Bríd Brennan is cast as Madam Pomfrey. Among students, Elijah Oshin takes on Dean Thomas, while Finn Stephens and William Nash play Slytherin students Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle.

The series boasts an impressive ensemble. Dominic McLaughlin leads as Harry Potter, with Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.
