Kingdom 2 Release: Kingdom of God Part 1, starring Vijay Deverakonda, made a recent digital release and it is immensely gaining fame among the fans for the heart-wrenching emotional drama and gripping storyline. The film was directed by Krishna Chaitanya and produced under Sithara Entertainments. The suspenseful ending has led fans to demand updates about Part 2.
In his recent interview, the producer Naga Vamsi acknowledged the hype surrounding Part 2. He confirmed that the expectations are known to the team already and they are writing the script. But he said, “Kingdom Part 2 is not releasing anytime soon,” therefore asking the fans to bear with them while the team wants to make sure it is worth the wait.
“The writing for the sequel will be a lengthy process,” Vamsi also adds, “and production will only commence when the team is completely happy with the story”.
To the best of the knowledge of our insiders, “Kingdom Part 2” is envisaged for a tentative release sometime in 2027, and if everything goes according to plan, shooting would commence sometime in late 2026. The bigger universe is something the team has in mind for this franchise. And the second part is expected to be much deeper in terms of emotions and technicalities.

There are also reports that ‘Kingdom Part 3’ could be released in 2028 or 2029. But the producer has not made any announcement beyond Part 2.
As much as fans want to see the next update in Kingdom, it appears that they will have to wait a little longer. While Naga Vamsi confirmed that quality and emotional depth are the key concerns. Fan expectations keep on rising for Kingdom Part 2. Until then, audiences can catch up with Part 1 on streaming platforms while waiting for further official updates.
