In a recent interview, The Bollywood Perfectionist addressed himself as very romantic. Aamir Khan said, “Actually main bahut romantic aadmi hu. Ma kasam, main bahut romantic hu. Bahut funny lagta hai bolte hue par aap meri dono biwiyon se poochh sakte hain ye baat. Sach bol raha hu main. Because main hu uss type ka (I’m a very romantic guy. I swear on my mother, I’m very romantic. It sounds funny, but you can ask both my wives. I’m telling the truth. I’m that type). I’m a very mushy romantic person.”
Aamir Khan married Reena Dutta in 1986, prior to his Bollywood breakthrough in the 1988 film “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak,” directed by his cousin Mansoor Khan. Together, they have two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. In 2002 they decided to part ways. Despite their separation, Aamir and Reena have remained supportive co-parents to their children, maintaining a respectful relationship.
The couple Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao first met on the sets of “Lagaan” in 2001, where Aamir Played the lead role and Kiran is an assistant director. Their love bloomed and got married on 28th December 2008 and blessed with a baby boy. After 16 years of marriage, the couple got divorced in 2021 and are currently co-parenting their son Azad Rao Khan. Despite the divorce, they still maintain a good relationship with each other.
