Metro increased ticket prices by 20 percent a few days ago and recently announced a 10 percent discount . With this, the ticket prices have changed. According to the increased prices, the minimum ticket fare in the Metro has increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 12 and the maximum fare from Rs. 60 to Rs. 75. Now, with a ten percent discount, the minimum fare has been reduced to Rs. 11 and the maximum fare to Rs. 69. It has been revealed that the reduced prices will come into effect from May 24. The Metro management said that this discount will be applicable on all paper, QR token, digital tickets and smart cards.

1. Rs.11.00 for 0-2 km (this is the minimum)
2. Rs.17.00 for 2-4 km
3. Rs.28.00 for 4-6 km
4. Rs.37.00 for 6-9 km
5. Rs.47.00 for 9-12 km
6. Rs.51.00 for 12-15 km
7. Rs.56.00 for 15-18 km
8. Rs.61.00 for 18-21 km
9. Rs.65.00 for 21-24 km
10. Rs. 69.00 for 24 km and above (This is the maximum fare. For example, the metro ticket price from LB Nagar to the last station Miyapur is Rs. 69)
