IRCTC: In celebration of the summer holidays, Indian Railways tourism arm IRCTC is running special trains to various pilgrimage sites with three special packages. Through these packages passengers can visit famous temples, historical places located in different parts of the country. These trains not only provide comfortable travel to the passengers but also provide accommodation and other facilities.
Divya Dakshina Jyotirlinga Yatra: This pilgrimage includes places like Arunachalam, Rameswaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Thiruvananthapuram, Tiruchi, Thanjavur. This pilgrimage begins on May 22 and ends on May 30. In this pilgrimage, one can visit the famous Jyotirlingas and other important temples of South India.
Ganga Ramayana Pilgrimage: This pilgrimage includes places like Varanasi, Ayodhya, Naimisharanya, Prayagraj, Shringarpur. This pilgrimage, which will begin on June 14, will end on June 22. This train will pass through Secunderabad, Vijayawada, and Bhubaneswar. During this pilgrimage, one can visit important places associated with the Ramayana and pilgrimage sites on the banks of the Ganges river.
5 Jyotirlinga Yatra: This Yatra includes places like Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Trimbakeshwar, Bhimshankar, Ghrishneswar, Ellora, Nagpur. This Yatra, which starts on July 5, will continue till July 13. This train will travel via Secunderabad, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Dharmabad, Purna. In this Yatra, one can also visit the famous Jyotirlingas of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, as well as the Ellora Caves. These packages are suitable for those who want to travel during summer holidays.
