Kajol Reflects on Life Without Social Media: Kajol is busy promoting her upcoming film “Do Patti,” in the movie, Kajol plays a fierce cop on a mission to find the murder mystery. Do Patti also features Kriti Sanon, playing a dual role for the first time. This film marks the first collaboration between these two powerhouses of talent. Recently while promoting her upcoming movie, Kajol candidly expressed her views on social media and the impact it has on people and she also admitted about life before social media.
Kajol started her acting career in the early ’90s, when there was no social media. The actress has witnessed the industry transformation from no social media to people living on social media. Now Kajol said, “I am thankful that I lived a whole life without social media. I only got on social media six years ago. Also, it is not real life. You’ll see my photo on the red carpet, but you won’t see that I woke up at 5 am to get ready, came back at 11.30 pm exhausted, and the next morning, I’m back to work. You are just seeing a snapshot of it. The reality is that we work as hard as everyone else, we have good and bad days, and yet, when you post, you’re smiling.”
The Do Patti actress admitted that she was so grateful to have lived a life without social media she’s so glad that she got to experience real life. She also said that, back then they had to make efforts to stay connected which made their bonds stronger. “Back then, we had to make an effort to stay connected, which made our bonds stronger,” she explained. Kajol went on to say, it was a lot easier back then to concentrate on her work without social media distractions. “I could concentrate on my work without worrying about likes, shares, or comments,” she said.
Starring Kajol and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, directed by debutant Shashanka Chaturvedi the film will be available for streaming on Netflix from 25th October 2024. This mystery thriller will be a must-watch for this weekend.
