In a recent interview, Kangana was asked about her relationship with Salman Khan. She was also asked why they never collaborated on a film togeather. The Emergency actress quickly responded by saying, “Salman is a good friend of mine, and we’ve had many opportunities where we could work together. But, you know, let’s see. Somehow it never came together.” Now the powerhouse colloboration has become one of the most awaited colloboration.
Kangana recently unveiled the trailer of Emergency, the film is all set to hit the theatreson 17th January 2025. In the event addressing Salman Khan, The queen actress said, “If you look at Salman ji, how much fan following he has, how much people love him. I think he is right now the top most, the most-loved star in the country. People who love him, love him. Now the people in whose eyes he bites, will definitely hate him. People who are his competition or are talking about people from the film industry, he will bite them in their eyes. Should we be in his place or why is he in that place, then he will bite such people in the eyes.”
Directing ‘Emergency’
Kangana candidly revealed her Emergency direction and said, “I felt that I made the wrong choices on many levels: firstly, wanting to direct this film, and took it for granted that even though we don’t have a Congress government… I previously talked about the movie Kissa Kursi Ka. Nobody has seen that film to date and back then, they burnt all the prints. Also, nobody made films about Mrs Gandhi. Upon watching Emergency, today’s generation will be surprised to think how she became like that; after all, she became PM three times. I underestimated things and thought that I would be able to get away by making a film on Emergency.”
