Samantha is currently busy promoting her upcoming high-octane action film ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ along with the makers Raj and DK and Varun Dhawan. During the trailer launch event, The makers and the actors had a candid conversation about the filmmaking and process. The trailer of Citadel: Honey Bunny has set the anticipation higher with an Indian essence in it portraying the role of an agent and mother in Samantha. The high-octane action sequences of Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are a must-watch.

During the Interview, Samantha revealed how she did the film from the initial stages to now. Samantha said, ‘ I signed the film and later I got sick. I was so sick that I couldn’t make it to the sets. I needed rest and I had no other choice, I asked them to move on and find other actress’.

She further explained, ” I literally begged them to move on and I also gave them few suggestions of other actors. I used to send pictures to them and say that she is great, she would kill it in the role etc. But they haven’t done it. They have waited patiently for me to come back on sets. Now, That I am here watching the trailer of Citadel. I am glad that they did not move on”

To a surprise, The makers Raj and DK revealed another interesting thing. They said, ” Its varun who did not allow us to go for another actress. He was not ready to replace Sam, ofcourse we all wanted sam to do this. But the film has to happen, we had to move on, But Varun did not want to replace her’.
