Stock Market Top Gainers and Losers Today
Compared to the last two days, today, February 19th, was a slightly better day for investors. Despite some notable activity, the Indian stock market continues to be volatile. However, the future looks promising with opportunities in Infrastructure, Technology, Clean Energy, Electronics, and Healthcare.


The stock market opened low today but picked up after the initial drop. While some stocks have picked up the momentum in the NIFTY 100, some stocks amassed losses to the investors. Here is the list of top gainers, losers, and most-traded stocks of the day.

Top Gainers
Zomato – Zomato opened at 220.60, and the CMP (current market price) is 232.63. Despite market fluctuations for several reasons, Zomato saw a quick rise and experienced consistent growth over the past three days.


JSW Energy – From 437 to CMP of 456, JSW displayed good results.

IRFC – From 118.63 to CMP of 123.75

Union Bank of India – After a continuous fall, the stock moved significantly. Opened at 109.23 and jumped to 113.34

DLF opened today at 666.25 and took a giant leap to reach 693.10

Macrotech Developers experiencing a strong strong sales growth and potential. The firms recently ventured into Delhi from Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru.

Jio Financial Services, Tata Power, Cholamandalam Invest L&T, HAL, Vedanta, Axis Bank, IRCTC, and a few others also saw a spike today.

In the NIFTY Midcap, shipping and defense sector stocks have seen considerable growth.

Top Losers
Stocks related to IT, Pharma, and green energy saw a dip today.
Zydus Life Sciences, Adani Green Energy, Dr. Reddy’s Labs, LTIMindtree, TCS, Infosys, and Bharti Airtel are some of the stocks that fell.

Kotak Mahindra Bank and Shree Cement touched its 52W high.

Godrej Consumer, Zydus, Varun Beverages, and BHEL recorded 52W low.

Gillette India, Rail Vikas Nigam, Mazagon Dock Ship, and Godfrey Phillips, are some of the most traded stocks today.
