Triptii Dimri Responds to Backlash Over ‘Overtly Sexualised’ Image Post-Animal. Triptii Dimri, the name that we listen to most these days. From being the girl next door to the most controversial actress, Triptii carved her path with her own choices. The Quala actress rose to fame with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ along with Ranbir Kapoor. Netizens argue that she gained popularity not for her talent bus the excessive skin show. Now the actress responds to the hatred she has been receiving about overtly sexualized images post-Animal
Recently Tripii was engaged in an interview with Forbes India and candidly addressed the backlash she faced from her roles in Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and Vicky kaushal’s Bad Newz. The Bulbul actress said, “I am someone who wants to give 100 per cent. If I find the character or the story interesting, I want to give my all. That’s what I’ve learned—if it works, it works, and if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. We won’t always be liked by everybody. There will be some people who like you, and some who don’t. You can’t keep all that noise in mind. You must follow your heart and do things you feel are right. Tomorrow, you may look back and think it was a mistake, but in that moment, you were being truthful.”
In the same interview, the Animal actress also talked about choosing overtly sexualized roles in her career. Triptii said, “I am going with the flow. The aim is to play different characters because I don’t want to go to a set and feel bored. I don’t want to show up and think, ‘I know this.’ and I want to feel challenged, to wonder, ‘How will this happen?’—and then make it happen. I need to feel satisfied as an actor when I go home.” Triptii was last seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video alongside Rajkumar Rao which was also a similar role of being sexualized. Apart from these films, rumours suggest that Triptii will next be seen in Aashiqi 3 along with Kartik Aaryan. Triptii will next be busy shooting for Dhadak 2 with Siddanth Chaturvedi.
