AP Schools Holiday Today: All private schools in Andhra Pradesh are open today as the planned bandh (strike) has been officially cancelled. Earlier, private school managements had announced a bandh across the state and declared a holiday for all private schools. This news had gone viral, and parents were informed through personal messages to cooperate with the bandh.
The bandh was planned to protest against the problems faced by private schools, especially regarding RTE 12(1)(C) admissions, lack of compensation, and officials interfering in school administration. The management also expressed concerns over unfair notices being sent to schools.
However, there was a major change this morning. The Andhra Pradesh government held discussions with private school associations and promised to take necessary action to address their problems. Following this assurance, the school management decided to cancel the bandh.
The private school associations stated that they believe the government’s promises and hope the issues will be solved soon. They requested all schools to function normally from today and informed parents that there is no holiday.

Earlier, parents were sent messages about the bandh and students were asked to complete their homework at home. But with the cancellation of the bandh, schools are running as usual, and children are attending classes.
Private school managements made it clear that their aim was not to trouble students but to seek solutions for the challenges they are facing. They also mentioned that if the government fails to act as promised, they will think about future action.
For now, the situation is normal, and private schools across Andhra Pradesh are functioning regularly. Parents and students can follow their normal routine.
