AP Dussehra Holidays 2025:
Dusshera is one of the biggest Hindu festivals celebrated across the country with great devotion and joy. In Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the festival also includes Bathukamma celebrations and Devi Sharan Navaratri Utsav, making it even more special for students and families. Usually, schools and colleges announce 10 to 15 days of holidays for this occasion.
However, in Andhra Pradesh, there is a big twist. While reports were circulating that schools and colleges in AP would remain closed from September 22 to October 2, the Education Department of Andhra Pradesh made an important clarification. The department has not yet taken any decision on the holidays.
OSD to the Education Minister, Akula Venkata Ramana, stated that no official announcement has been made and that the viral messages about holiday dates are false. He clarified that the government has not finalized the Dusshera holiday schedule so far.
This unexpected statement has created confusion among students and parents. Many were already preparing to enjoy the festival holidays, but now they are waiting for an official announcement from the Andhra Pradesh government. Discussions are going on whether the holidays will be reduced or extended compared to Telangana and Karnataka.
Meanwhile, leaders like Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan are busy with political activities during the festive season, but students and their families are mostly concerned about the holiday calendar. Parents are requesting the government to declare the schedule at the earliest, so they can plan travel, family gatherings, and festival celebrations without uncertainty.
Until then, all eyes are on the Government of Andhra Pradesh and its final decision regarding AP Dusshera holidays 2025. Students are eagerly waiting to know when their much-anticipated festival break will begin.
