Student Transfer: Educational institutions may request ticket transfers for students attending events or educational tours.

Government Official or Group Bookings: They can transfer their bookings in case of government officials or official delegations along with proper documentation submission.

Visit the reservation office in your nearest railway station with:

Application in writing

Copy of the ticket

ID proof of both the passenger and transferee

Note: Transfers are not available for e-tickets through the IRCTC website or app; they have to be processed offline.
