Forbes India Top Billionaires 2025:

Forbes India has released its list of the country’s 100 richest people, and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has once again secured the number one position. According to the list, Ambani’s total wealth stands at $105 billion (approximately ₹9.32 lakh crore). Even though his wealth fell by nearly 12% compared to last year, he remains India’s richest man.

In second place is Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, with a net worth of $92 billion (around ₹8.17 lakh crore). Adani’s fortune has seen some fluctuations over the past year, but he continues to be among the top two wealthiest individuals in India.

The third position was taken by Savitri Jindal and her family, who head the O.P. Jindal Group. Their combined net worth is $40.2 billion (about ₹3.57 lakh crore). Interestingly, Savitri Jindal is the only woman in India’s top ten richest list, making her achievement even more remarkable.

In fourth and fifth places are Sunil Mittal, the Chairman of Bharti Airtel, and Shiv Nadar, the founder of HCL Technologies. Both have consistently remained among India’s top business magnates due to their major contributions to the telecom and IT sectors respectively.

A special highlight of this year’s list is the presence of six Telugu entrepreneurs among India’s 100 richest people. Leading them is Murali Divi, the Chairman of Divi’s Laboratories, a well-known name in the pharmaceutical industry. Their inclusion shows the growing business strength of Telugu industrialists in the national economy.

The Forbes India Rich List continues to reflect the resilience and success of India’s leading business families, despite market challenges and global economic changes. Mukesh Ambani’s continued dominance shows how Reliance Industries remains a key player in India’s industrial and financial growth.
