Ibrahim Qadri grew up in Junagadh, Gujarat, painting shop signs and walls to support his family. Life was a struggle. He recalls earning just ₹150–₹500 per job, often skipping meals to make ends meet. People began comparing him to Shah Rukh Khan as a teenager, but he never paid it much attention until a life-changing moment.
In 2017, at an IPL game in Rajkot, fans mistook him for SRK. A mob of fans swarmed, chanting “SRK!” He had to call police, and they escorted him to safety. That moment made everything click: he could build a career around his resemblance.
Qadri immersed himself in Shah Rukh Khan’s films. He studied SRK’s gestures, walk, expressions, and even his dance moves replaying iconic scenes until he nailed them. Qadri lost 10–12 kg to match SRK’s frame. He learned hairstyles, fashion, and now hand-makes his own outfits modeled after the star’s memorable looks. Today, he commands impressive fees approximately ₹1.5 to ₹2.5 lakh per event. He performs at weddings, corporate events, and private parties. Fans still swarm him in public. Off stage, he stays humble, lives simply, and keeps a tight circle of friends.

Now, Qadri’s journey has reached new heights. Vogue India featured him in a rare nod to a celebrity lookalike. The article noted his Instagram following of over 2.2 million and praised the uncanny resemblance that still fascinates fans today. Despite the fame, Qadri draws a clear line between imitation and identity: “I am not a copy, I am a creation,” he says. He avoids meeting SRK because he doesn’t want to lose the magic of his journey. His mantra: live in the moment, spread happiness, and never hurt anyone’s heart.
