Gold and Silver Prices on September 7, 2025: Record High in Major Cities

Gold and Silver Prices on Sep 7:

Gold and silver prices in India are touching record highs this September. On Sunday, September 7, 2025, the prices continued to stay strong across major cities like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai.

Gold and Silver Prices on Sep 7:

In Hyderabad, the price of 24-carat gold per 10 grams reached ₹1,08,490, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹99,450. Silver prices also shot up to ₹1,38,000 per kilogram. The same rates were reported in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, making gold and silver investment a hot topic in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was slightly higher at ₹1,08,620, and 22-carat gold was ₹99,600, while silver was around ₹1,28,000 per kilogram. Mumbai recorded similar prices to Hyderabad, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,08,490 and silver at ₹1,28,000 per kilogram. In Chennai, however, prices were a bit higher, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,09,150 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,00,050. Silver there matched Hyderabad’s rate at ₹1,38,000 per kilogram.

Experts say that the surge in gold and silver prices is due to several factors. Many investors are shifting from the stock market to the bullion market because of global uncertainties. The weakening of the Indian rupee is also making imports costlier, pushing prices up. With the festive and wedding season beginning, demand for gold is naturally rising, which adds more pressure on prices.

Interestingly, gold has risen by about ₹6,000 in just six days, and silver prices have jumped by nearly 42% this year. For families planning weddings or buying ornaments for festivals, these record prices may come as a big challenge.

Market watchers also warn that prices may rise further in the coming weeks. So, those planning to invest in gold or silver need to stay updated as the rates keep changing daily.
