Gold and Silver Rates Today:
Gold and silver prices have once again seen an upward trend today, October 6, 2025. The increase in rates is mainly due to ongoing geopolitical tensions and a weakening Indian rupee against the U.S. dollar. As investors move toward safer assets, gold demand has gone up significantly.
In Hyderabad, the price of 24-carat gold stands at ₹1,19,390 for 10 grams, while 22-carat gold costs ₹1,09,440 for 10 grams. These rates are almost the same in Vijayawada, Mumbai, Chennai, and other southern cities. In Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold has reached ₹1,19,540 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is priced at ₹1,09,590.
Compared to previous days, silver prices have seen a slight drop of ₹100 per kilogram. Currently, silver is priced at ₹1,64,900 per kg in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kerala, while in Delhi and Mumbai, the rate is around ₹1,54,900 per kg.
