Hyderabad Rains – Police Alert: Rains are lashing the twin cities of Hyderabad. Floodwater has accumulated on roads in several areas. In this context, the Meteorological Department has issued a major update, warning of the possibility of heavy rains in Hyderabad today. The alert states that torrential rain is expected in the evening, with moderate to heavy showers likely in surrounding areas until 11 p.m. Officials have specifically warned of heavy rainfall in the afternoon and evening, accompanied by gusty winds.

The Cyberabad Traffic Police, in coordination with the Meteorological Department, has issued a key advisory. They have urged companies to allow employees to log out early and offer work-from-home options to those working evening shifts. This measure aims to ensure safety, avoid traffic congestion, and prevent disruption to emergency services. With the forecast predicting heavy rains from the evening, companies have been asked to let employees leave as early as 3 p.m. The same advisory applies to evening shift workers.
