Hyderabad to Tirupati Air India Flight Faces Technical Issue

Hyderabad to Tirupati Air India Flight:

On the morning of July 19, 2025, Air India cancelled its flight from Hyderabad to Tirupati due to a technical problem at Shamshabad airport. During pre-flight checks, airline engineers identified a fault in the aircraft’s electronic control system and decided to ground the 7:15 AM flight.

Hyderabad to Tirupati Air India Flight:

The airline informed all passengers that they can either receive a full refund for their tickets or rebook on the next available flight scheduled for the following morning. For those needing to travel urgently, the airline plans to operate a special afternoon service, subject to aircraft availability and clearances. The airline’s management assured that they are working closely with technical teams to resolve the issue promptly and minimize disruptions.

To ease the inconvenience, Air India also arranged refreshments for stranded passengers and provided hotel accommodations for those who needed to stay overnight. Ground staff were stationed at the terminal to assist with rebooking, refunds, and queries.

The affected flight was part of Air India’s daily regional service connecting pilgrims and tourists between Hyderabad and Tirupati — two cities with high travel demand due to their cultural and spiritual significance.

The airline offered personalized travel solutions to help passengers affected by the cancellation reach their destinations with minimal delay. It emphasized that safety remains its highest priority and announced plans to tighten routine maintenance protocols following this incident.

This cancellation adds to the growing list of disruptions at Shamshabad airport, which has seen increased operational stress due to rising air traffic and infrastructure maintenance. Officials are now calling for better coordination between airlines and airport authorities to avoid similar occurrences in the future.

Air India urges passengers to check its official website or contact the 24×7 customer care helpline for the latest updates.
