IB Recruitment 2025: 4,987 Security Assistant Posts, Apply Before August 17

The Intelligence Bureau is inviting applications for 4,987 Security Assistant/Executives in all parts of India in 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board. The age limit for applicants is 18 to 27 years as of August 17, 2025. Age relaxation for reserved category candidates is as per rules.

Language and Location Requirements

Candidates must apply for a region and must know the local language of the chosen region. They must be able to read, write, and speak in the local language. A domicile certificate will be required for the selected region.

Important Dates

The online application started on July 26, 2025. The last date for application submission is August 17, 2025. Candidates can pay fees online or offline. If payments are made offline, they must be made by August 19, 2025.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹100, plus a non-refundable processing fee of ₹550. The SC, ST, and female candidates pay the processing fee only.

Selection Process

The selection process has three phases:

Tier I: Objective type written test
Tier II: Descriptive test and local language translation
Tier III: Interview and document verification
All stages must be clear for a candidate to be successful. All shortlisted candidates are required to undergo the medical examination before being selected.

Salary and Benefits

The candidates selected for appointment shall be placed under Pay Level 3. The basic pay scale is between ₹21,700 and ₹69,100 per month. Candidates will also receive a security allowance and may possibly receive government perks.

You will be able to log into the MHA website and complete the application form.
Enter mobile and email ID, upload relevant documents such as a photo, signature and relevant certifications.
Pay application fee online or you can generate a challan to make an offline payment via bank.
After uploading the documents, the MHA will have your confirmation page and you can download the confirmation page.
