Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2025: 394 Tech Jobs, ₹81,100 Salary

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released a notification for various Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Grade-II/Technical Vacancies. There are a total of 394 vacancies available to be filled. Vacancies

The total number of vacancies available as results from the IB notification are 394 JIO Grade-II/Technical Vacancies. The authorities have divided the vacancies as follows: 157 for General Category, 32 for EWS, 117 for OBC, 60 for SC, and 28 for ST. Selected candidates will earn a salary between ₹25,500 and ₹81,100. They will also receive central government allowances.

4. After verification, therefore agree to the policy agreement, enter and fill out the application form completely.
5. Upload all requisite documents and photographs and submit your application online.
6. Download or print your application form to keep as reference.
7. The applications are due September 14 2025 at 11:59 PM.

 

Eligibility

Age requirements are a minimum of 18 and maximum of 27 years. Age relaxation rules allow SC, ST, and OBC veterans an additional age allowance of a maximum of 5 years. Please refer to government guidelines to clarify.

 

Qualifications

To be eligible, applicants must have a recognized degree or diploma. Various options include a Bachelor’s in Science with Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science. A Bachelor’s in Computer Applications is also eligible. Alternatively, a Diploma in Electronics, ECE, IT, or Computer Science will suffice. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are not eligible to apply.

 

Selection Process

The selection process involves three stages. The first stage, Tier I, is an online recruitment examination. The Tier I is further divided into TWO parts. Part A will consist of 100 marks questions, and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours. 75% of the questions will be subject based, and the remaining 25% will cover General Mental ability. The second stage, Tier II, is a skill test worth 30 marks that will assess the technical skills of the candidates. The third stage, Tier III, is a personality test to assess the individual’s suitability for the position.
