Indian Railways has announced a special festive season offer for passengers. Travelers can now get a 20% discount on round-trip tickets if they book both onward and return tickets together. This scheme is available through the new RailOne mobile app as well as railway reservation counters.

The offer is valid for a limited period. Passengers must book tickets for onward journeys between October 13 and October 26, 2025. The return journey should be between November 17 and December 1, 2025. Importantly, the station, class of travel, and number of passengers should remain the same for both trips. If tickets are booked separately, the discount will not apply.

How to Book on RailOne App

1. Download the RailOne app on Android or iOS.

2. Log in using mPIN or fingerprint.

3. On the home page, select “Avail Festive Package.”

4. Enter onward journey details (October 13–26).

5. Book the ticket and get a PNR number.

6. Then choose the return journey option (November 17–December 1).

7. The system will auto-fill travel details.

8. Select the date, make payment, and get a direct 20% discount.

The RailOne app also offers other features like live train status, food ordering, and cab booking, making the travel experience more convenient.

Booking at Counters

If passengers do not wish to use the app, they can book at railway reservation counters. The only rule is that both onward and return tickets must be booked together, following the given dates.

Things to Remember

Discount is only available if both tickets are booked at the same time.

Travel class, stations, and passenger details should be the same.

Offer applies only to the specified festive travel dates.
