IRCTC Free Wi-Fi: Connect in Seconds with This Simple Guide

IRCTC Free Wi-Fi:
In a significant move to enhance the Digital India initiative, the Indian government has announced the availability of free high-speed Wi-Fi at over 6,100 railway stations across the country. This new facility is aimed at providing better connectivity to passengers, ensuring they can stay connected during their journeys.

IRCTC Free Wi-Fi:
The announcement came from Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who stated that this service will be available at major stations like New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kachiguda, and Secunderabad, among others. This decision follows the government’s substantial investment in the Indian Railways, improving infrastructure and services for the public.

The free Wi-Fi service will be available through a partnership with RailTel, a government-owned telecom company. With 4G/5G coverage already present at most stations, passengers can now use the Wi-Fi service to download movies, songs, games, and even complete office work during transit. This is expected to make travel more convenient, especially during long waits at stations.

How to Connect to Free Wi-Fi at Railway Stations

To connect to the Wi-Fi, follow these simple steps:

1. Turn on the Wi-Fi mode on your smartphone.
2. Select the “RailWire” network.
3. Enter your mobile number and get an OTP (One-Time Password) via SMS.
4. Enter the OTP and begin using the high-speed Wi-Fi.

This service is available at a majority of railway stations, making it easier for passengers to stay connected on the go.

The introduction of free Wi-Fi is expected to improve the overall passenger experience and encourage the use of digital platforms, enhancing the journey for millions of travelers every day.
