The Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to run with 16 coaches starting July 10, 2025. In what appears to be a major upgradation in the train capacity. The Indian Railways has taken this decision to cater to the growing passenger demand along this route. Quite a popular one connecting Hyderabad(Kacheguda) in Telangana with Yesvantpur in Bengaluru, Karnataka. IRCTC Launches Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat of 16 Coaches.
Till now, the Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express was operating with only 8 coaches;. Considered that its popularity has been rising consistently and that the passenger loads have been constant. These king-size coaches will provide better comfort and ease the waiting list for tickets. This expansion is also a testimony to the increasing trust in Vande Bharat trains for speed, comfort, and premium passenger experience.
Coach Count and Duration Remains Unaltered
With the addition of extra coaches, the schedule and travel duration will remain the same. The train, known for its punctuality and travel-time efficiency between two IT hubs, covers the distance in about 8.5 hours, providing an edge over existing trains on this route.
What Would It Be Like in the 16-Coach Version?
The extended train will consist of Executive Chair Cars and AC Chair Cars and still have modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, onboard entertainment, GPS-based information systems, and bio-vacuum toilets. The coach increase will also help not only in increasing seating capacity but also in undoing the congestion on peak-time travel between Telangana and Karnataka.
