ISKCON Attapur: Hyderabad’s ISKCON Attapur is gearing up for the grand celebrations of its 5th Sri Krishna Janmashtami Festival on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Devotees from across the city and beyond will gather to seek the blissful darshan of Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, and Sri Sri Jagannath Baladeva Subhadra.

Organizers are making elaborate arrangements to welcome thousands of visitors. Devotees will engage in the chanting of the holy names of Lord Krishna, the Hare Krishna Mahamantra, creating an atmosphere filled with devotion and spirituality. ISKCON has also set up a spiritual book fair, offering visitors a chance to explore ancient Vedic literature.

A major highlight of the celebrations is the distribution of 1,00,000 cups of Sri Krishna Mahaprasadam to devotees and visitors. ISKCON Attapur aims not only to celebrate within temple grounds but also to extend the mercy of Lord Krishna throughout Hyderabad. As part of its daily “Food for Life” initiative, the temple will distribute 1 lakh free meal packets to the underprivileged, including patients in government hospitals, children in orphanages, and elders in old age homes. The festival promises to be a blend of devotion, service, and celebration.
