What’s more shocking is that the bus’s fitness certificate had expired, and its insurance policy lapsed last year. Reports also suggest that the road tax and pollution certificate were no longer valid. These revelations raise serious questions about how the bus was allowed to operate despite failing to meet safety and legal standards. Police are now investigating whether negligence by the travel company played a role in this tragic incident.
